SDL are able to supply a lightweight 40kg hoist that is ideal for lifting manual wheelchairs and small scooters and is also suitable for the popular SDMotionDrive and SDMotionAssist power assisted wheelchairs.
The hoist takes up a minimal amount of space in the boot so there is still room for other items when the hoist is not being used.

The boot hoist cord is looped under the seat squab.
The wheelchair can now be easily hoisted.
Once the wheelchair is level with the boot, it can be lowered in to lay flat.
The boot arm can then be collapsed down to lay flat.
